Problem:
You can not FTP login your Godaddy website with  “530 Login authentication failed” message.
If you find you can not login into godaddy FTP and it looks like below:
Response: 220———- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [privsep] [TLS] ———-
Response: 220-You are user number 9 of 50 allowed.
Response: 220-Local time is now 19:49. Server port: 21.
Response: 220-This is a private system – No anonymous login
Response: 220 You will be disconnected after 3 minutes of inactivity.
Command: USER uy898
Response: 331 User uy898 OK. Password required
Command: PASS **********
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Could not connect to server

And you confirm the user name and password are correct.

The most reason is that your FTP Host IP is blocked by some network router.
You can test this by Ping, it  will failed on your IP.

Solution:
1. Enable SSH in the Settings section under your domain, it may ask your tel number and provide you a code by a computer call
2. Download a WinSCP  which is secure FTP client software.
3. Use WinSCP to  FTP upload your files
